The tower is a vertical device used in chemical unit operations such as distillation, purification, absorption and rectification, and is widely used for mass and heat transfer between gas-liquid and liquid-liquid phases. According to the structure of the internal components of the tower, towers can be classified into plate towers and packed towers. If the interior of a container only holds materials without undergoing chemical reactions or other physical and chemical processes, and there are no facilities or only simple auxiliary structures, it is also called a tank. Containers are classified into two types according to their forms: vertical (with the axis perpendicular) and horizontal (with the axis horizontal). Most tower vessels belong to pressure vessels.

I. Maintenance and upkeep should be carried out in accordance with the contents required by the package mechanism.

II. Operators must strictly follow the operating procedures for startup, operation and shutdown. Over-temperature and over-pressure are strictly prohibited, and the following must be achieved:

1. Adhere to conducting regular and fixed-point rounds of inspections, with a focus on: temperature, pressure, flow rate, instrument sensitivity, and sealing of equipment and affiliated pipelines. Overall vibration situation

4. Fill in the operation records carefully.

III. Maintenance workers conduct a round inspection once a day on duty. The key points of the inspection and maintenance are:

1. Whether all components are complete, and whether the thermometer, pressure gauge, flow meter, etc. are correct and sensitive;

2. Vibration condition of the entire tower;

3. Eliminate leakage, spillage, dripping, seepage and equipment defects in a timely manner;

4. Keep good inspection records. For defects that cannot be eliminated for the time being, a report should be submitted.

1. Regularly clean the tower according to different production processes and media, such as using chemical cleaning methods. However, neutralization and cleaning work need to be done well.

2. Conduct a surface inspection of the exterior of the tower once every quarter. The inspection contents are:

Check if there are any cracks or leaks in the welds. Special attention should be paid to the welds at corners, manholes and connecting pipes.

2. Check whether all the fasteners are complete and loose. Whether the safety railings and platforms are firm;
